Been A While

Yes,I'm still above ground and riding ! Not much going on in my life right now.We are having a pretty fucked up Spring here in New York thanks to Climate Change. All it ever does is rain . Sure we get a nice day sometimes and even 2 or three in a row now and then but for the most part it's cold and wet which means I haven't been riding as much as I'd like. Did get out last Saturday and rode my ass off on three different bikes covering around 200 miles. It was a fun day then it rained for two more days. Had enough good weather to hang a couple storm doors for someone and now I'm trying to get a deck stained before the rain returns . I also have a fence to put up and need a few days of dry weather to do that. I need to not do exterior work any longer, just can't make any money on it when it takes three times longer than it should because of this shitty weather we now have.Heading up to my camp in a few weeks with my wife in her Honda Accord to drop off some tools and supply the place so I can go up in July and August on a motorcycle. Gas is above 3 dollars a gallon and rising so it will be the BMW  K 100 going up to save on the fuel.She's running well these days and at last check getting 48 miles per gallon .This is my only way to do that distance and get up to my place without going broke doing it. So,there you have it,all the news that's fit to print ! Not much else going on. I began my 70th trip around the sun a couple weeks ago. Still going strong and feeling good .I'm wanting to go on a long motorcycle trip. Thinking of heading down south to the Barber Vintage Festival in Birmingham , AL in October. I wanted to be ending a long cross country trip with this as my last stop on my way home but not working all winter and having to put in a new motor in my wife's car ended that plan.But,there is always next year !
